Nominations for the 2025 National AIRAH Awards are now open and close July 18.
We’re looking forward to opening nominations, judging entries, and eventually sharing the winners with you at a black tie gala event in late 2025.

National Excellence in HVAC 2025
This award recognises excellence in the delivery, retrofit, upgrade or maintenance of HVAC systems, and covers all aspects of project delivery.
National Excellence in Refrigeration 2025
This award recognises excellence in the delivery, retrofit, upgrade or maintenance of a refrigeration systems, and covers all aspects of project delivery.
National Excellence in Innovation 2025
This award recognises significant Australian improvements in the areas of HVAC&R achieved through innovation, including new or significantly improved systems or plant and equipment or processes.
National Excellence in Training 2025
This award celebrates organisations or individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to training and upskilling within the HVAC&R sector.
National Leadership in Diversity and Inclusion 2025
This award recognises and celebrates individuals and organisations that have shown leadership in their efforts, initiatives, policies, programs and practices to embrace and foster truly inclusive levels of representation within their ranks.

National Young Leader 2025
This award recognises emerging leaders in any facet of the HVAC&R industry, and may include engineers, designers and drafters, project managers and supervisors, tradespeople, commissioning and maintenance technicians, technical sales people and other industry participants.
National Student of the Year – Trade 2025
This award is given to an outstanding student at any level in the HVAC&R industry’s trade sector.
National Excellence in Knowledge Building 2025
The Award for knowledge building is open to individuals who provide training across the industry, publish Technical Papers, present at conferences, train within their organisation, or contribute to AIRAH guides.
National WR Ahern Award 2025
WR Ahern Award is awarded to the best technical paper by an AIRAH member published in Ecolibrium per calendar year.
National James Harrison Medal 2025
The James Harrison Medal is the highest honour AIRAH can bestow upon an individual. The award recognises the highest levels of individual achievement in the Australian refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
